Knee & Shoulder Conditions
The advanced technology of MRI, CT scan and Ultrasound has made diagnosing shoulder and knee conditions more precise. Conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or post trauma arthritis can affect both the shoulder and the knee. Often injuries to the knee and shoulder occur as a result of athletic activity. Rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocation or separation and fractures are common sports injuries which sometimes go undetected through X-ray.
ACL injuries, deep vein thrombosis, avascular necrosis (lack of blood flow to bone tissue) and cartilage injuries and some of the conditions that advanced imaging diagnostics can identify more precisely.
